Denisea's twins:

Absolutely Adorable!

And they get along so well, too!

Cute as buttons: Little Angels Alex & Tommy

Even though the boys are (probably) not identical, they do have remarkably similar features. Can you tell which one is which?

Answer: Alex is on the Left, and Tommy is on the right.

Mommy! Tommy's in my space!

Mommy! Alex is in MY space!

At 2 1/2 months (less than one month past their expected due date), Mommy's little Tax Deductions have had a little too much milk, and are outgrowing their size 0-3 month clothes.

Tommy the Tiger

Daddy thinks that will be his baseball moniker when he joins the Phillies.

Mommy thinks he'll outgrow it.

Tommy is a Bouncing Baby Boy.

Must...Bounce...Must...Keep...Bouncing...

Both boys enjoy bouncing, but sometimes Alex just won't settle down without it.

Daddy multi-tasks, burping Tommy while simultaneously bouncing Alex with his foot.

Tommy is deep in thought while Alex notices the camera.

Alex mugs it up for the photo...

...and Tommy smiles (or maybe it's just gas).

They've come a long way since these pictures (below) were taken at 3 days old. The boys arrived not quite 2 months early. Denise wants to thank all the maternal care and NICU staff at AtlanticCare for taking such good care of her and her boys.

Alexander ("Alex") was the larger baby at 3 lbs, 11 oz.

Thomas ("Tommy") arrived weighing 3 lbs, 4 oz.

At just over one week old, the boys got sick with a bacterial infection and had to be placed in contact isolation.

At about 3 1/2 weeks old, the boys were "co-bedded" and started "nippling." Alex was the first of the twins to get fed by Mommy. Tommy had to wait for another day (when Aunt Kim wasn't there with her camera).

Alex is on the left. Tommy is on the right. They are 3 1/2 weeks old in this picture. Gavage tubes to their stomachs are now through the nose, to make it easier for them to nipple.

Mommy tries to give Alex a bottle for the first time. Alex looks worried.

Alex (left) and Tommy (right) at 4 weeks. They are now taking all their feed by mouth, so gavage tubes are no longer needed. Plus, they are now eating every 4 hours instead of every 3 hours. They were ready to come home by the weekend!
