Alas, The Typsy Gypsys will not be performing March 13-14 & 27-28

but there will still be plenty of entertainment so don't miss a single weekend!

The Austin Bellydance Association's (ABA) Library has moved!

Lucila has faithfully been the ABA's Librarian for many, many years! Thank you, Lucila!

Lucila will still be teaching at The Galaxy Dance Studio

in the same business center as her current studio (1700 S. Lamar),

& at her home studio, but the ABA Library cannot go with her.

So, it has a new, temporary home at Sahhira's Souk until a better home can be found.

There are over 60 belly dance DVDs available for rent to Austin Bellydance Association Members

for a mere $3 per week, and MORE DVDs are added on a monthly basis!

The Typsy Gypsys and other Belaharr Dancers will be at
Ruta Maya, South Congress, Austin, Tx.

Great music, Great drumming, Great dancing, and, Haffla, Haffla, Haffla!

Doors open at 6 p.m. for this event. $5 cover.

In addition to solos and troupe,

The Typsy Gypsy's will give more Tribal dance lessons to get everyone up and moving!
Ararats will be serving food again - Excellent!
Tarot Reading and other Venders
Belaharr's second CD, 'Belly UP'

and their first CD, ' World' (remastered and newly available), will both be for sale!

Belaharr shows are Family Friendly so kids are welcome!

The Austin Bellydance Association (ABA) is having a garage sale!

10am - 2pm @ 7101 Creighton Lane, Austin, TX 78723

(Check Weather.com or email Sahhira to be sure).

No vending fee but to sell you must be an ABA member

(check w/ ABA Membership Officer to ensure you're a current member)

Shopping is free and open to the public!

Vendors - Bring your own chair, extension cord (if needed), sunbrella or canopy, & racks/tables, and your own food/drink (there's a burger place nearby, but you can get lost in this neighborhood)! Vendors may set up beginning at 8 a.m.

(you know early shoppers will be there waiting no matter what time it's suppose to start...).

From IH35 exit on 290 going east. Take the Berkman Dr. exit and stay on the frontage road past Berkman along side 290 toward 183. Turn right on Northeast Dr. which is the 3rd street past Berkman; on that corner there's an old Pizza Inn building that has become an Elks Lodge. Take your 1st left on Creighton Lane & follow the street around a curve. The garage sale is on the left-hand side of the street shortly after the street straightens out. It's at a 2-story house w/ the black mailbox at the curb and a pop-up camper in the driveway.

EXTRA!!! EXTRA!!!!

The Typsy Gypsys are proud to announce a new member!!

Eva Tennessee (also in Mirage and a star in her own right) has joined our ranks!

Yahoo! We are pleased to announce the addition of our newest member, Eva Tennessee! We know you've seen her around town, she still performs with Mirage, but now you can get even more of her spunky dancing when you come see the Typsy Gypsys. Her inaugural performance with us was at the recent Desert Passion show that featured Oliver Rajamani, and we received high praise afterwards, with a couple of audience members saying the Typsys Gypsys had never looked better! So next time you see Eva, congratulate her, as we welcome her as our new dance sister. Opa!
